How to Place an Image Inside Text in Photoshop
Step 1: Open Photoshop
Open your background image (optional) or start with a blank document.
Step 2: Place the Image

Go to File → Place Embedded…

Select the image you want to use inside the text.

Resize/position it as needed.

Hit Enter.
Step 3: Add Text

Select the Type Tool (T).
-
Click on the canvas and type your text.

Use a bold font for best results (e.g., Impact, Bebas, Arial Black).
Step 4: Put the Image Inside the Text

In the Layers panel, make sure the image layer is above the text layer.

Right-click the image layer and choose:
👉 Create Clipping Mask
(or press Alt + Ctrl + G on Windows / Option + Command + G on Mac)
Now the image appears inside the text!
Step 5: Adjust Position
Move or resize the image layer to reposition how it fits inside the text.
Step 6: Add Effects (Optional)
You can apply effects to the text layer, such as:

Stroke (outline)
-
Drop Shadow
-
Outer Glow
-
Bevel & Emboss
To do this:

Double-click the text layer.

Add your desired Layer Styles.
